Default Pathetic
I ran into a girl I was friendly with a few years ago. She has three dogs, a corgi mix, and two pit bulls. She informed me she is losing her apartment because the lady below her is a bitch and complained about her dogs. Proceeds to tell me the lease says no pit bulls but management met her dogs and said they were fine. Then she tells me she keeps her dogs together, uncrated during the day when she isn't home. The one pit bull had aggression problems (human) but he is now on Prozac and is doing better.

She is one of those "fur mommies" and should not have pit bulls in her possession.

Granted, I have made my fair share of mistakes when I first got Logan but this girl has had her dogs for years now and still thinks it is unneccessary to not crate her dogs when she isn't there? Not to mention why would you put your dogs in jeopardy signing a lease that clearly states "no pit bulls"?

SIGH

Why do you believe crating the dog is necessary? You mention she doesn't create her dogs during the day, but you don't anything the dogs have done which would indicate why that is important.

So many people think their pit bulls won't turn on another dog because there have never been problems. It can happen in the blink of an eye.

It's downright dangerous and irresponsible to think it could never happen to you.

Prozac? Really? I thought it was bad enough that people are getting dependent on that.

You are right. As I said she is a "fur mommy" and has a bleeding heart. She is no good for this breed. When she told me about the dog's behaviour I told her she is better off having the dog put to sleep but she wouldn't hear of it.

After I politely told her I had to go she told me to look her up on FB. Don't think so.

I wish people would research before getting this breed. Poor dogs.

I'm glad I'm a beast mom.

You should look her up on FB, then spam the crap out of her wall with stickies.

I like the way you think but it is a lost cause with her.

Ummm yeah...me too!!

No fur mommies here!!

OK...I would probably try a dog on Prozac...but I would not leave bully breeds loose unsupervised around other dogs.

Hell; I won't even leave Veronica loose, unsupervised around herself!!
