Default Im going to change her mind
I am moving in with my sister, 4 dogs and all because I have no job and I need help. My sister and I once got into an argument about pit bulls, she thinks they kill babies and should all be dead. I have a pit bull mix, she is 3/4 pit bull and 1/4 english pointer, she really doesnt LOOK too much like a pit bull, but in the end my argument will prevail (I will be glad to remind her constantly she is a pit bull mix and her kids are still alive). She has 2 boys, both pretty young, ones 8 and one is like 3 or 4. Zahra has been around her kids and other children plenty but she has yet to see how amazing this dog is with people and all animals, and soon I will have won her over. Im going to be able to dramatically change her opinion on this breed, im hoping. This is my child eating pit bull mix with different children at different times, she did a demo with children at an elementary school as well. Good thing she was fed her daily ration of 2 children that day before I took her to the school. My friend is the dog trainer in the back round. She did the training i took the photos.

From my experience if you take a Pit Bull mix to someone prejudiced and the dog is well behaved the person with the prejudice says its the X breed in the dog taking over the evil Pit part. If you take a Pit Bull mix to someone prejudiced and the dog is horrible they say its the Pit Bull taking over the good X dog breed in it part..

Or they say well then, it's because you are a good owner...

Not even! That would too much be like admitting that Pits aren't bad and it is bad owners who are responsible for bad behavior.

This is my take on it and I hope it doesn't come off as too harsh. IMO if your sister is kind enough to take you and all four of YOUR dogs (I'll assume she's paying for their food as well since you have no job), I wouldn't be throwing up the fact that one of your dogs is a pit bull mix every chance you have. Let your dog's behavior speak for itself. It may not completely change her view on "pit bulls" but hopefully your's will shed some light on the baby eater BS.

Oh, that last picture, I can definitely see that she has "turned" and is going to eat that boy. Shame on you for keeping a baby killer!

lol. She's worried about your pit mix, but not your bull terriers? That's silly.

No I wont be throwing it into her face constantly, maybe just after I know she is convinced. Yea my family tends to be 'its how you raise them' too so I am gonna try and do a wee bit of educating. I need to tell her its about genetics more than anything else.

No reason to worry about the bull terriers, all my dogs are great with children.

I'm just saying if she's worried about your ravenous baby eater pit mix, it seems silly not to worry about the bull terriers too. I mean, another breed of muscular terrier type dog with a prey drive is just as likely to use the kids as tooth picks and tug toys once they pick the bones clean.

I had to take her inside and feed her some more kittens to make sure she wasnt going to engulf that poor child, since, the neighbors knew he was over here...i would have got caught! lol.
