Default Is this wrong?
There has been an aggressive stray hanging at the property since the fourth of July weekend. I'm borrowing a catch pole tomorrow so I can safely capture him, because he has proven that he is not afraid to bite. I've asked our neighbors and checked around to see if this dog belongs to anyone, and so far no one has come forward to claim him.

My dilemma is, that I can take him to animal control where he will ultimately be destroyed, after much stress and fear. Or, I can take him to my work and have him put down on the spot.

Would it be wrong of me to feel that it would be better to just have him destroyed asap? He is skin and bones and torn to bits by other dogs. He wont allow any one close to him, and he looks fairly old--he has bad teeth--but it could just be that he has had a rough life.

I'll likely just take him to animal control and drop him off, but I feel bad about it. Like it will cause him more stress and fear than necessary.
