We FINNALLY were able to get Mercedes vet records, from her former vet. I feel so sorry for this dog.She was bred, and had a spay/abort.(thank god)This dog has had allergies, with missing hair and skin issues that have been undiagnosed and bandaided since 2008. She had been tested for mange, came up neg everytime, was on steroids, ivermectin and anti-biotics out the wazooo. She HAD to have been miserable, outside with such issues with her skin.
![]() So we now have some history on her.....but GOD.... ![]() |

If you cannot get a handle on or properly diagnose the allergies has the vet considered that the skin issues could be caused by either an autoimmune or hormonal factor? My guess is that if it were autoimmune predisone would help, but hormonal factors while harder to diagnose can cause skin issues that mirror allergies and are not all that uncommon in female flat coated dogs. Just a thought.
Good luck getting your girl taken care of! |
