last night i was on the front porch talkin to some friends, and this girl walks by and has her adorable black pit bull (possibly mix, idk didnt talk to her) but anyways, this dog is walking right beside her not a care in the world and the whole time this black cat is stalkin after them a few feet behind, not once did the react to it! i was just happy to see to someone walkin ther dog, not their dog walkin them, and non the less my favorite breed!! hmmm... seems to be a trend there, wen other people walk their dogs on leashes around here their being pulled by the dog, but the times ive seen pits they have been so well behaved!! ( and on leashes too

That is what we are doing in our neighborhood. BF and I have both been working with our immediate neighbors that have Bullys. Now when you see someone being drug down the street it's usually not a Bully, if it is it's obviously someone new or a new dog, and within the week, they are being approached about starting to work with the rest of us.
It only took me two years, but I've convinced my neighbors that our bully breeds have to be the best trained and best behaved dogs in the area. For ours and their safety. It's working slowly but surely. |
