We just moved about a week ago.
me and wife have 2 dogs amstaff and boxer, The staffie took the move fine been his normal sweet loving self, our boxer however has been acting like a lunatic when walking he growls and barks at people. Never did it before and with us he is still his normal sweet self. So much for the vicious bully type dogs lol The boxer is growling at neibors and our bully is chasing butterflys ![]() |

we have never had issue with the dogs fighting they have been together since the boxer was 5 months old and the amstaff was 4 weeks old we found him. Since there routine has been back to semi normal the boxer has been calming down, loves the neighbors kids but he barked and growled at the parents a few days but today was fine. I think it was being stuck in the crate so many hours and not getting normal exercise had him acting funny. The boxer is just over a year old now and the amstaff is under a year old both very hyper they get hour walk and time in the yard with flirtpole and fetch but during the time we moved we couldnt get there normal exercise (I felt bad)

The dogs get along fine why should they be separated? For my own personal experience, Rita and Trinity lived together for nearly two years and see each other for about 4 days a week. They never had a problem even with toys and food. Last weekend, Trinity snapped at Rita over a toy, Rita was willing and a fight broke out. We were on hand to immediately seperate and neither was hurt but I am sure one or both of them would have been in bad shape had that happened if they were alone. Dlane, are you aware that the "bully breeds" usually "turn on" and can become other dog aggressive when they reach maturity which is anywhere from 1-3 years old? I would recommend seperating them when you aren't there in case on or both of them "turn on". |
