How could someone throw away a litter of very young puppies in a cardboard box out in the rain !!!!!!! What the HELL is wrong with people!!!!!! We found a box,soaking wet with 5 puppies in it.The pups look about 3 weeks old.3 of the pups had succumbed to the cold and rain.2 pups made it and are here in a playpen.They are doing ok,right now.
One is black with a white mark on her chest,the other is a brown/black/silvery 'sable' color male.I am guessing maybe a shepherd-type mix on the male,and possibly a lab x on the female.Milk teeth are just cutting the gums.We are hoping they make it.Poor puppies.

I hope they make it as well.Yes, I took care of the deceased pups.I buried the passed ones at my dad's place on his property. I hate people sometimes.

They are in a pack and play playpen right now.We are not allowing the other dogs contact with them.We are not allowing them to be out of the pack and play,unless they are being HELD by us,with a clean towel over us.We are washing our hands both before AND after interacting with the pups.They are NOT allowed on the floor,to be handled by guests,or outside AT ALL. We are being UBER wary,for their sake and the sake of our other dogs.We are watching them like a hawk for ANYTHING out of the ordinary.
I COULDN"T leave them,and I am really worried for them too.We are being VERY paraniod careful with them.

Aw I'm glad you're taking such good care of them. I can't believe someone through them out like trash. But you know what they say, one man's trash is another man's treasure, or woman's.

I love stray dogs. So far I have found they make the best of any dogs. I've tried back yarders, papered pedigrees, show, working, pets... none have come close to those I have found in rubbish heaps. What a great find.

I just don't understand people. Thank you for taking them in. RIP to the little ones that didn't make it. I hope these little guys will be OK. I am sure you know to take them to the vet ASAP. Please keep us posted.

thank god for people like you!!! well and im sure just about everyone one on here would have done the same thing! about this time a year i kinda keep my eye for little animals or boxes, im a nerd i know, but i know how people are.. ecspecially with the animal shelter here, wouldnt take a kitten i found last week so i know some peopel will just dump them off rather than take them there... plus if its your animal or your animals litter, you have to pay to surrender them there, n its unlikely alot of people will do that!!!

I KNOW I am a HUGE sucker for animals.I could NEVER have just walked away.I can't understand how someone could do that.That's why I end up with so many,I think.I can't walk away or ''not help'' when they have no one else.Its not like I 'try' to ''find them'' or go looking for them.They allways just seem to find me,no matter what kind of critter they are.

I have sucker painted on a sign in my yard, I always get the strays, throwaways and unwanteds. I also always happen to magically be right there when an asshole drives by and THROWS a box of kittens out of a moving car.

They are doing good so far, and hopefully it will stay that way. I'm going to be paranoid until they are old enough for their shots. We have them in a playpen, sequestered from the other dogs. They are eating well and had a good night. They have the sweetest faces and god the puppy breath
