i was doing some reading about ol' charlie manson and found that he and america's biggest satanist anton lavey were part of the process church group, which worshipped both jesus and satan.what does this have to do with dogs you might ask?? well it has more to do with an animal rights group than anything, when the process church split up they reformed as the foundation, then a splinter group formed, they are ,Best Friends Animal Society.the nation’s largest no-kill safe haven for displaced, homeless or unwanted domestic animals, located in Southwestern utah near the town of kanab. The hour-long series DogTown, filmed at the sanctuary, is the story of Best Friends' ongoing work with dogs.
---------- Post added at 02:49 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:34 PM ---------- a little more research into this and i found that the groups that best friends are an offshoot of,the process church of the final judgement, were originally a splinter group of the church of scientology and were deemed too suppressive wacked out for even the church of scientology. |

Sorta O/T but was still thinking *and shaking my head about this*while mowing (plus it's hot and I'm procrastinating)
My "grand-dog" (son's dog)if I recall correctly, has some variation of a Charles Manson name in her ped and its "relatives" are all named after members of that cult. Before I finished the first sentence of the initial post, I was thinking it was a post about some dogs in her ped. ![]() ...back to mowing.... ![]() |

Where did you read about this? I'd like to here more about this stuff I just wasted 1/2 an hour. ![]() It is interesting though and you can get sucked in... (I don't really get the Anton LaVey connection though...because the beliefs of the Process Church seem to differ significantly from Satanism...at least as far as I can tell from 30 minutes of skimming. ![]() |
