So yesterday we had Bubba meet Nelly for the first time. It well rather well. It will be a long process before we get her home for good, but I am optimistic. We didn'd to pictures this time, but we will next time. I am hoping to have Nelly home by the end of summer

Isn't she! She is even better looking in person. We had a dog that looked just like her growing up and it killed my dad to put her down... well he was over yesterday and got to meet her and I think it was love at first sight, for both of them. She loved her soon to be grandpa... it was so cute. I called my Dad this morning and he goes... so when are you gonna bring Nelly home? Lol!

Isn't she! She is even better looking in person. We had a dog that looked just like her growing up and it killed my dad to put her down... well he was over yesterday and got to meet her and I think it was love at first sight, for both of them. That's great!! I'm glad your dad not only approves, but is excited for Nelly to be home with you guys too! She's a doll, I'm glad she's getting a second chance.

This rescue is very strict and they like to take their time which I like. The goal is to get her home by the end of summer... just taking our time... letting them get to know each other. Crating and rotating for about a month when she first comes home, and then we go from there. I'd rather take my time and do it right.

They definetly are... this is the first rescue I have dealt with that wants to take time. All the other were trying to shove the dogs out the door. We have been looking for another one fore about 6-8 months... and I think we finally found her
