Default How F'n Irresponsible!!!!
I am soooooo pee'd off right now. Ok. so my dog and i were coming back home after a great morning in the park and a nice ride. when we walked thro the door to enter my condo building....this brindle pit/mix was flying down the hallway stairs towards us, owner/handler nowhere in sight. so i tried backing my dog up so i could move and shut the door.....to late, now my dog, myself, and and other dog are all outside basically wrestling. the dog seemed only interested in me and i'm not gonna lie....him running towards us like that got me nervous. well, i think cyrus picked up on it cuz he went into full attack mode against this dog twice his size. i swear i was doing my best to separate them. then finally the other dog owner casually opens the door while on his cell phone and says 'my bad'.........r u kidding me??? 1st off, put ur phone down and get over here and grab ur mutt. damn right ur bad. my dog isnt DA and with shit happening like this he will be in no time....what an a--hole. thank god they never came in contact with each other...if cyrus wasnt a puppy......i'm pissed. sorry just had to vent. this man is twice my age...shouldnt he know better than to let his dog roam the hallways?? what if my nephews were with me instead.....aaahhhhhh PEOPLE make me sick

That stinks! I hope you and the pup are both alright and it doesn't imprint negatively on the pup. I'd be furious!

did you have a talk with the guy?
or the building manager? being attacked by someone's dog when entering your own home is unacceptable.

I would have a talk with him and then make the manger aware of the issue.

yeah, i called management and left a message they called me back and said that he told dude if the dog is reported loose 1 more time either the dog goes or they both go. i honestly am too angry to have a sensible talk with the man so ima send my bf up there. he's 6'3''....lol. i understand that stuff happens but this was no accident and the fact that he acted so careless after the fact really has my blood boiling. i feel bad for his dog cuz in the long run he is the one that is gonna have to pay for having a dim-witted owner.

Well you handled it well by calling management. I have dealt with people like this before and there is little that pisses me off more when it comes to my dog. You're right - shit happens. But guess what, when your dog runs out the door, RUN AFTER IT! I hope your boyfriend straightens 'em out

I'm glad the manager is going to handle it for you... what worries me is, people like you neighbor will end up being the reason the management ends up making your place a "no dogs allowed" building. Irresponsible owners drive me nuts.
