It'll be the same crap it always is.... you'll hear the following phrases more than a few times...

Forced to fight til the death

Trained to fight

Kept on chains

Its about nothing but the money

Bait animals

they'll talk about Vick's culling methods and make it seem like all Dogmen do it

They'll show mainly a bunch of young black guys in what looks to be a garage or something.... they'll show the same footage of two young black guys shoving puppies at each other

I'll watch it until it gets me pissed off... then I'll turn it off.....

You can believe they won't show the love that Dogmen have for their dogs.... You can believe they won't talk about The Cajun Rules where it gives the dog the choice to fight or not.

They won't talk about how even though a dog loses... if it loses game its not culled that it can still be kept and bred... they won't talk about the professional Dogman that love and care for their dogs... the professional Dogman that at times will neglect his family in favor of his dogs..

That's what I was thinking.

I doubt it'll be good. But we'll see.

I can't agree more. It seems like the only shows about dogs on tv is about pits.

Uhh no offense NC but these things STILL happen, so should they be neglected/ignored if a few people "do it right?".

It should not be ignored...... but at least cover the other side... you know what they say there are 2 sides to every story....

But they don't want to tell the stories of the professional Dogmen.. they tell the stories of the ghetto trash and trailer trash... the people that don't care about their dogs....

Why not show the other side as well... why not show the old pictures and such? I mean I've got an old picture of a dog match back in the day with Jack London, several actresses and a few judges in attendance.... think that'll show up on any "dog fighting exposed" show?

you forgot the Rape racks NC Are you saying they don't need to use a rape box? Some of the most ingrained members of the establishment here absolutely need to use them here. Perhaps our dogs are just more "game" than some others. It raises the question with me that is bulldogs are ruined because they can't breed without medical intervention, surely the apbt has reached the end of its evolutionary path if two individuals can't breed without rigging.

I do agree for the most part, but this show will not be about what it is used to be like, but rather what it is like today. Will any current real dogmen step up to the plate and defend their practices and actions nowadays before the eyes of general public? I don't think so. Hence, the idiots and scumbags who use these dogs to make a quick buck, and care less for the breed itself make the spotlight.

But thats not always the way its done today either... there are still legit Dogmen out there doing their thing and doing right by the dogs.....

But animal planet is just like the HSUS and PETA all they are going to focus on is one little segment of what is real and they are going to put it out there as the gospel truth and the idiot furmommys and the rest of the bleeding hearts will say "Oh what horrible people these dog fighters are... let me rescue one of these poor abused dogs"

Then you got yet another knucklehead rescuer that doesn't understand the breed owning it... and when it "locks" on to a small dog at a dog park they will wonder why..... and the bad name for the breed continues.

NC, I agree. The show after show, premier after premier going has the snowball effect and does little to the dogs if anything at all.
I already have a couple in the neighborhood getting the dog rescued and telling me how he's great with their cats, and how he likes running in the dog park with all these dogs around...
