I must proudly say that when I look at my doggie overall...he's a good boy! I don't have any problems from him. Since he's past teething he doesn't chew my home up. When he's out back he doesn't dig my yard up. He gets along with the cat. Doesn't jump the fence. Doesn't mess in the house. And he doesn't bark all day and night.
I feel lucky...........thus far... |

Goren is a good dog over all, I can get him to not go ape shit on other animals on walks, he does bark at the squirls that taunt him, if I walk him (like I should but since I was sick and am getting a sore throat I have not been walking him as much as I should) he does bark more. He knows being in the house is a privlage and stays exactly where I put him, he does not try to jump the fence or dig under it, he does not destroy the yard or his dog house...he does bark more than I want but he is getting better at that as long as there is not squirls.

Irie is a flippen angel, Elsa the foster on the other hand is still a puppy and likes to chew but learns fast so she is almost over it....generally they are both really great dogs. Irie is the epitome of perfect pittie behavior even though shes likely a mutt- GREAT with kids of any age, stubborn and very people oriented (great for training), athletic, and not to mention great at cuddling

My girls are great for the most part, but they're not perfect. Lily gives the BEST cuddles ever, so she's a 'good dog' in my book. I think Lily's better behaved than Liberty, but I know Liberty would give her life for me, so I love them both equally.
![]() Right now, however, they're wrestling and tearing around the house..... It's the bad girls club up in here. ![]() |

![]() I used to think I had a "Good boy" seemed to be the perfect dog... could not do no wrong... until I discovered I had a kitchen caper by night... then I caught my "Good boy" on camera standing on his hind legs for about two minutes at the kitchen counter, stove, and sink and then walk to my bedroom door to peak in and then back to the kitchen counters... he did that all night... some "Good boy" I thought I had... ![]() |

I have a few of those....... ''good dogs''.
My gsd Nyx is a very well mannered dog.She minds me,very good, doesnt ''go'' in the house, isn't an excessive barker, good with my other pets, etc. Even my vet loves her,she is just so mellow. Bella (apbt) is a good girl (aside from her ''happy enthusiasm'') She's snuggly sweet,LOVES the cats, very nurturing and motherly, listens well, sleeps all night, completely potty trained, does good on a leash and is very tollerant. Beep (GSD)is a good dog, she's very careful, loving and protective. She's very maternal, and does great with the other pets in the home.Checks on them, and does a ''head count'' throughout the day.She listens well and is 100% solid potty trained, she will hold it for 24 hours if she has too.She absolutly will not go in the house. She can be a little bratty, but thats just her charm. Her only downside is she has a big mouth and knows how to use it....exscessively at times. lol The only real ''bad girls'' are the 2 pups, misfit and mischa.Misfit is worse than the mischa-dog.They are at the mischevious,'I'm not hearing you' stage.Gonna be glad when they grow outa that stage.lol. |

Depends what you mean by "good dog". I think Veronica is overall a good doggie. She fits into our family perfectly...but I would hardly deem her "bomb proof".
She has some dog issues, she can be nervous in certain situations and will bark at the source of her anxiety, she gets amped up really quickly and has a hard time calming down and also has a hard time listening when she's amped up. None of it is a big deal; but it is stuff that we spend time working on. |

Well one problem i have with Cleo is she tumps over the trash can to get scraps every time shes in the kitchen. So now we just put it in the laundry room every time shes in the house. Now we just have to work on her ripping up every bed i get her to go in her dog house! I went outside the other day and it looked like it snowed because all of the cotton in my yard lol!!

I like to think my dogs are good. When they want to be that is..
I've never had problems with Lucy. She had no accidents as a puppy, has always been willing to sleep for at least 10 hours a night (in my bed), she's tolerant of kids, small animals and puppies, and loves to play. She used to love to tear things apart, but she grew out of it. Now my only problem with her is her love of cat poop. Ethel's more of a cat than a dog. She just wants to sleep, roll in the snow and get her chin scratched. Honestly she's my best dog. She walks the best on a leash, is amazing off leash, and keeps the other dogs in line. Damascus is almost old enough to be one of the good dogs. Almost. He gets better everyday, he just needs to grow out of this mischievous stage he's in. |
