Default Update, havent been here in a year
hi all!>....ok havent been here in awhile..had to many thing to take care of....

new owner of a 5 month old female brindle pit. WHich I have named SQUIRT.. It was a stray that I took in when the person who found it didnt want it. I took the dog to the vet and she told me it was 5 months old. SHe is very skittish right now and scared of the littlest noise....but loves to be anywhere I am and follows me around everywhere..
SHe wieghes in at 23.5 pounds and about 14.5 inches tall.

just an update on "SQUIRT" she now weighs 53.5lbs and stands at about 21" from the floor to her top right behind her collar....and is the sweetest dog...wouldnt harm a fly...still skittish but not as much as before i guess....has destroyed my whole front yard with her digging and eating my leyland cypress trees and has ate right thru 3 cable chains so i finally got her a link chain...HA!!! try eating thru THAT!

To me she looks fine but her chest in not wide like her rear, when she has her aggressive stance her front from paws up are very narrow compared to the rest of her....is that just a normal female body structure? Im not sure if she is 100% pit but i saw one that is and she looks just like her except SQUIRT's hair is just longer than most pits ive seen.

Will her chest fill out? she is now about 1.3 years old....so she has put on 30lbs since i posted last.
Im thinking that she may be to tall and lanky on her front side to be a 100% pit but i dont know.

I will get a picture of her tomorrow.

thanks and sorry for staying away for so long.

if i should put this in an other forum ....which one?

Im wanting to change her food cause ive been stupid and been feeding her Little did i know cheap ass Purina dog food.

i'd say if she has longer hair she isn't 100% apbt/amstaff but that doesn't make her any less of your buddy!
