Hello Everyone,
I am planning on moving to L.A., California in March 2010. The problem (which is a stupid problem to have) is that my family dog that I love is a pitbull. How unfair, right?! Anyways I was really needing some help from the people on this forum. Does anyone know of any pitbull-friendly apartments in West L.A. Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much! Ashley |

Welcome, Ashley.
I have the following suggestions - your best bet would be to search Craigs List for private landlords (as opposed to large, 'corporate' ones). You may want to emphasize to potential landlords that you have/will get renters insurance that protects such landlords from liability. Also, the Pasadena (CA) Humane Society maintains a list of 'Pit Friendly' properties (I do not have link handy). Best of luck! |

Ive been running into the same problem, actually its a 2 part problem - most places have weight restrictions on the dog and if I am lucky enough to find a place that will allow a dog over 25lbs I then run into the ever growing list of breed restrictions - with pit being at the top of the list =( its very frustrating.
