Default Is my dog mixed?
I need help determining if one of my dogs is a mix or possible purebred. I know the dad was pure bred but the mom could have had some other bully breed in her. He will be 2 yrs in april and he currently weighs 55 pounds and is 20 inches at the shoulder. I dont care if he is mixed or pure just curious.

Thank you for your help

I can't help, but he's a cutie. And the horse has a lot of chrome.

Ya him and the old mare still like to be around each other. Its funny how much she tolerates him so do yo think he is a possible mix?

Me too they remind me of the chocolate labs that my dad used to always get. Seems people really like to steal dogs with that coloring. This is the first chocolate one I have had since I was a child.

That's odd that people want to steal them. They have a beautiful color, though! We have had a few chocolate APBTs at my shelter that got awesome homes. I don't really go for color but they are beautiful. I would love to see more pictures of your boy. You could post more in our
Photography & Artwork Section More people will see them there.

Ya the chocolate labs all got stolen so he gave up getting any and started with the black labs. I love all colors really but I wont get an all black dog unless its a lab. without dogs we would be a very depressed species I think. A good dog is a good dog regardless of breed.

Yes you're right. I had a black lab for 12 years that passed away a year ago and he was the best! I also had a rottie/lab mix that I had 10 and a half years and she was awesome as well. They were my 'soul' dogs.

Oh I am sorry. We waited a whole year to adopt another dog which has paid off because she is such a sweet puppy.

As it's already been said, it's hard to say if a dog is purebred or not. The only way to know for sure is to get a dog from a reputable breeder.
