That's wonderful that she didn't react negatively. The government want us to teach a million different controversial subjects but not one government official has suggested an animal safety awareness class. Personally I think it should be required reading before a new parent leaves the hospital with a child as well. Ok Ok, that was my rant. lol. |

I took everyones advice about how they trained their dogs around kids and man did Irie pass with flying colors! My friend's toddler came over today and I only let Irie come out because Tonka is just too excitable. I put her on a pinch collar with a lead and had my friend's little girl feed Irie cookies. I was SO proud of how well Irie did. She never once was too excitable and even let the one year old climb on her, grab her nose, pull her tail, take toys from her,etc. Obviously I was never anywhere but right in between them in case something happened. Irie even let her take the lead and WALK HER AROUND IN CIRCLES!
