Oh ya... I've got a good one! This one dumb ass said that pit bulls can't release their bite ever unless they bite right through something so their teeth meet again. If that was true... I'd have dozens of pit bulls still hanging off of ropes in the yard years later!

Default when will it end
i pulled up at a gas station today and had boss with me as i got out of my truck a woman walked by and seen me talking to boss. when i shut the door she went to "inform" me about my dog. she said that a "red nose red eye" pitbull is the meaniest breed of dog to have. i tried to explain that red nose is not a breed which fell on deaf ears. the woman said that her husband has 7 "blue nose" pitbulls that he breeds and would never own a red nose again because they are so mean. and it only got better she told me about how a full blooded pit should be shorter and heavier than boss which only weighs about 50lbs. after trying to explain bullys ast and apbt she got mad and left without even going in the store. i guess some things will never change

Nope. There will always be ignoramouses who think they know what they are talking about. I had some guy tell me my Scarling was ''almost a red nose''. She's red with a black mask.

I actually look forward to all the "expert critics" i run into. In one trip to the local petco i got a sample of them all.
- The idiot
A guy actually tried to put his daughter (1 yr old or so) in the buggy with eggs. Never met this guy in my life.
- the instigator
A guy took his little fluffy dog and did 5 or 6 laps around eggs. I guess he was trying to get us kicked out.
-the expert
A guy about my age (20s) said he had over his lifetime nearly 70 pits and was bragging about how his dog ripped a GSDs throat out. And he recently lost a dog in a fight....couldnt shake him fast enough.

In our time there 2 people walked in saw eggs and immediately left. Good trip

Yep, the know it all people are quite annoying. I run into them on a regular basis and have learned that it's pointless to argue with them. I've become so sick of them that most times I just to look at them like they're crazy and walk away laughing.

I have oddly never heard this red nose myth that seems to be common knowledge

idiots!

---------- Post added at 10:41 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:40 PM ----------

in the book 'wallys world' about bull terriers a man approachs the owner of wally and says 'you will need to take the dog and give him a good beating every once in awhile to keep him in line, and to let him know whose boss or he will be vicious.'

ignorance is everywhere.

I was recently walking my dog in the park when a guy was walking by with a lab. The dogs started pulling towards each other to check the other out when the guy says my dog doesn't ''look playful''. Is that even a look?

I imagine the only red eyed dog would be an albino. All the rednoses I've known have had gold eyes although I did see a picture of an adult red nose with stunning green eyes.
