ok I have been in finals this week and well my aunt has called me like 4 times which is not like here...she left me a message about her haveing 2 dogs again I was thinking "great she does not train her highly territorial keeshound she has not to not be dominant to her or family members..." well anyway I talk to my mom about it and she tells me its her old dog she had...a standard poodle...this is a dog she has stolen from her from her "friend" (we do not ask...she does not have boyfriends) well anyway this lady had conned my aunt into buying a van for her then ran out on her...with the 2 standard poodles my aunt had gotten while she new her...well anyway I guess the van was found...with DEAD Dogs in it...and this poodle that is my aunts...probably the other one was there too....dead...well the police go to her house and somehow she does not get arrested, the van is in my aunts name, I dont even think she filed a police report on the van and dogs because my parents did some searching after the woman ran out and found out she was a con artist...well anyway she gets the dog back and now I am trying to see if this van is in the news anywhere, its not the show dogs comming back from a show, I think it would be in Indiana not MO but I am not positive I have been searching for about an hour...and being saddened at peoples idiocy with "pit bulls" and so just wondered if anyone heard anything about this, I know the other dog was a standard poodle but do not know if there were any other dogs...I have not talked to my aunt about this because I am really tired...did not sleep last night so am going to wait till tomarrow and talk to here in person. I do not know if she is calling to ask about tips on fattening a dog the RIGHT way...not feeding it crap food like she does or if she is dealing with a behaviour pob...I think its now 2 females because I don't remember what the poodle is but she might be dealing with DA because this insidant with the van and dogs getting stolen happened about this time LAST YEAR so who knows if the dogs were left for dead 3 months ago and this poodle killed and ate the other dog...sorry for the long post I am a bit flustered you know.

Wow.. sorry to hear she is having to go through that. I'd wait till you've had a bit of rest, and calmed down, then call her and see what's up. Maybe she wants some advice on a better diet for them. Of course, if the dogs are dog aggressive, we all know the ole' crate and rotate routine. Just give yourself some time to calm down before you call her. Best of luck and let us know what happens.

ty, yea I am going to see her in person tomarrow so I am ganna wait till then and not tell her I know anything so she can tell me what she wants...and about crate and rotate she does not beleive in it...but she would rehome a dog I know to a home without any other dogs that would never get them. but you never know she could crate and rotate and surprize me lol.

edit: she also free-feeds so it might be food aggressive and guarding behaivor from the poodle which would be understandable.

ok I talked to my aunt today and she said that the lady that stole her van and her dog had abandoned them here close to Indianapolis I guess I think that is where the town was don't remember the name...but she and AC are the ones that got her dog back but he was the ONLY one alive in the van and is super skinny...welll she keeps her dogs FAT so not SUPER skinny but way skinnyer than she is used to. she said before he was stolen by her she he weighed 59lbs and now he weighs 50 with about 2 lbs of matted fur, so yea pretty skinny in comparison. I asked her if he had any issues like food aggression now, she said no but he is really fearful but getting over it she has had him back for about a week. She said he is eating all his food, she free feeds so that is a lot but last night he did not eat it all imediatly, he left some in the bowl so that is good. They have a warent out for the ladies arrest so hopefully they catch her. The other bad thing is because since she was able to get him back from AC he has to be neutered....he is 10 years old....so his age makes me a little scared. But I am happy that they got a warrent out for this chick and my aunt is not dealling with major behavioral issues...ooo yea another med issue is he is holding his left front leg out weird..I am suspecting the chick broke it or somehing. She has already taken him to the vet 2 times and to the groomer and such so even though my aunt keeps her dogs fat lets them roam her house and does not control them very well at least she takes them to the vet and genuinly loves them...
