Default Old time APBT Photos
I am looking for a photo that I'm not sure exists, but I thought I'd post around.

I'm wanting one of those old time photos with a family or person posing with their APBT, but I'd like one with a dog that is kind of Grant-ish looking. I want this for something at the library. It needs to be of a decent resolution, nothing too tiny.

For reference, this is Grant...

Do you mind me asking what this is for?

You could edit up a photo to make it look old... Or is there a need for a REAL old pic?

Oh, no problem. I'm just making some promotional material for the library. One of the services that I'd like to promote is that we will scan pictures for people. I thought I'd use an old photo on the advertisement, which went to me wanting to use an old family photo with an APBT. And if that dog looks a bit like Grant the Library Dog, it will attract more attention. It needs to look pretty authentic for what I have in mind, though. People in period dress, etc.

Gaud... I don't know... I've got a ton of them but the vast majority of the dogs are white, piebald or brindle. Never really thought about that before. So far, the closest I can find is this one, and it's not even that close! lol

That one would have been good!

I just found this one of Buster Keaton and Luke in high resolution. I may need to do two of them, so that I can use the cute one above with the little girl. That so reminds me of Grant and Syd.

One thing about the last one I added, Fatty is smoking. Maybe not the best for the library! lol Unless you can crop it out! lol

Plus Fatty wasn't the best "role model". lol. I'd avoid using anything with him.

Well, the kids aren't going to know who he was. Those that remember him would probably get a kick out of it, though!

Maybe.

I don't know about others, but unfornately, this is what I think of when I think of Fatty.

Of course, since he was acquitted, and probably was innocent, I guess in some ways, it's fitting for an APBT type thing.

For those interested, this is what I wanted them for.

These will be on a large multipurpose screen that will shuffle through jpg images when we are open and not using it for anything else. I will be using it to advertise library programs and services.

I'm sneaky that way. Here is our closed for Thanksgiving sign

Closeup of the pic...

My job largely consists of making goofy signs and hanging out with my dog. It rocks.

But, was he a criminal if he was acquitted?
