At the club we have here, they have ''fun shows'' where non registered dogs can compete in conformation and weight pull. You should check out your local clubs to see if they do the same. If you are interested in showing, going to shows would be a great place to make contacts and maybe in the future, you can aquire a registered dog to show.

i know that i just want to put him n some shows. On the topic of 'showing',conformation showing is not possible, without registration papers.Weight pull, agility, obediance and rally are dogsports that any dog, mixed or nonpapered can compete in.Some events only allow sexually altered dogs to compete, others will allow any dog to do so. ---------- Post added at 04:31 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:29 PM ---------- Also after 3 or 4 years i wanted to breed him after he proved himself in the show ring or weight pulling .That's another reason why i want to register so that i can keep up with his family tree. |

If you are to lazy to go look for the sites to find out how to register your dog you are to lazy to breed, no one is going to be able to answer your questions better than the registry you are registering with. If your dogs parents aren't registered you can't register the pup, if you don't have signed papers from the breeder you can't register your pup. If you wanted to breed you should have researched this stuff before you bought the pup.
How is your pup bred? |

If the parents aren't registered, then you won't be able to register him. Plus since he isn't registered, it's best not to breed him.
My suggestion would be get him neutered. Still do weight pull with him. The APBA has a class in conformation for spayed/neutered dogs. They, also, have an all breed weight pull. There are also some other weight pulls where your dog doesn't need to be registered or intact. IWPA and APA, I believe. |
