So, I'm browsing Craigslist and I see an ad that says...

"Rolling Dog Backpack and 16ft Retractable Leash"

And I think, ooh, I've been looking for a backpack for Clairece to wear on hikes! I don't know what 'Rolling' is, but maybe it's just the brand.

So I start reading the ad... and the confusion begins

I can't say enough good things about this rolling dog backpack by Casual Canine. It packs on your back...

Wait, MY back? what...? continue...

...the handle extends way up and has double wheels on the back so you can roll it, and it has 2 strap holders on the back to run your seatbelt through so your buddy is secure.

WTF are you talking about?! continue...

If also has at attached safety tether inside the bag to attach your pet to when it goes it..for security. There are vents on both sides over half way down, so your pet gets a view too...

FACE PALM! OHMYGAWD it is a backpack you PUT YOUR DOG IN.

Now don't *I* feel stupid for not having the thought of putting my dog in a frikkin backpack cross my mind

You should just get one of those infant carrier things, a Snugglie? You could use that to carry her, on your chest instead of your back. I'm sure she'd just looove that!

Actually.. I bet she would LOL I carry her around often, because she does everything at 150 mph and is a danger to herself and others LOL and she just goes limp and it like.. "hiiiiii, you're carrying me!" haha

LOL. one time my friend and i got into a fender bender with an older lady so we got out to see about the cars and everything and the lady was flipping out and hovering over a carseat.We get up there to see if the baby was ok and it was a freaking miniature poodle strapped into a human baby carseat!

Actually, it's doodles that attract the weirdos...trust me, working in Lake Oswego(Portland suburb known for old crotchety rich people) has shown me how weird people can be. Poodles come to a very close second.

Oh and let me know if you want one of those, I can get ya a discount at my work!

The only way I could get Mollie to go hiking with me would be if I did put her in a back pack on my back.. otherwise, she'd wait at the bottom of the hill for me.
