Oh my goodness, me too! Maggie LOVES the mud and LOVES to make sure she is painted from head to paw with it before she comes back in. Personally, I think it's her way of conning me into a bath (which she also loves.) Ohhhh my poor muddy floors.

Chloe can't stand the rain poor thing LOL. She'll hold out until she can't possible hold it anymore. Then it's a quick dart out the back door and a quick dart back. I hate the muddy mess though it sucks...lol

Mine hates rain but loves the dirt and mud too. LMAO. These are such funny dogs. Silly bullies. She acts like a cat on nip when she sticks her nose in the dirt.

my dog HATES water, in fact, he won't even come close when I'm changing his water dish until I back away! lmao!

so... depends, if I got time, I won't let him out until it stops (if it doesn't take to long to stop raining of course!) but if I have to leave or know it won't stop for hours, I put on his leash and go outside with lots of treats, but it doesn't seem to sink into his mind that he'll be treated if he goes potty outside when it rains lol

Goren hates the rain, hose, anything but the lake and river...but...he does go potty in the rain but that is all he will do, if I put a toy out there he will not go get it or play with it or anything lol he hates rain so bad that when it rained when we were at the lake he did not want to get out of the shelter house to go to the car.

Well I am glad I am not the only one with this problem... I have walked her outside on a leash and she just kinda sits/stands(she doesn't want to sit all the way down on the wet grass haha) and puts her head down like "WHY are you doing this to me?!?!" And, of course she will not go. I need to buy puppy pads for her for rainy days(or weeks-like it has been) and train her to use those. I have never been successful in training dogs to use them, any ideas?

I have dealt with this many times throughout the years. You have to break your dog, the way I break them is by placing a chainspot in the smack dead center of the yard and then chain them out. They learn pretty quick to take care of business when there is nowhere to hide.

of my 5 dogs the only ones that are giving me problems are my 2 bitches.

The 3 boys have no issues going out. When my bitches do go potty in the house it's in the dog's bedroom so clean up isn't too difficult just frustrating as hell. My oldest one, I kind of understand seeing how when it rains it bothers her arthritis really bad and it hurts her body but as for the other one She has Absolutely NO EXCUSE other than not wanting to get her "precious paws" wet. Grrrrr

My female looks out at the rain for a minute, I tell her go pee pee hurry up , hurry up and she will go.The male is a different story(pain in the butt)sniffs the air,slightly lifts his leg pees and hurrys in.I wait till the rain dies down then, go out with him to poop.
