What is it youre looking to test for? At present time DNA stesting for dogs is really not that effective. Its serves little purpose other than to prove the parentage of your dog. There is another thread on this with more info, Ill try to find it for you.

I've heard that DNA testing isn't completely helpful, but maybe jillibean can find the link to the place that she found helpful.

Here you go:

http://www.wisdompanel.com/

I believe it costs $129. I got a free test that i'm going to use on Bubba. I'm hoping it will come back frenchie/irish wolfhound so that I can take him with me to an apartment...you never know

I did the wisdom panel for Ellis. They only test for akc breeds so no APBT. Ellis' test came back faint traces of amstaff and distant traces on st bernard. They rest they couldnt tell.

waste of money. There are some good youtube videos that you can find with owners of various breeds sending off several different tests and revealing hilarious results...

Don't do it. DNA testing cannot be done to determine a dog's breed.

I know of a person with an APBT who came back as a St Bernard Collie mix and someone else who's APBT came back as a Swiss Mountain dog Poodle, The test really isn't acurate at all. Maybe one day it will be but until then I personaly think it's just a way for them to make money.
