Default Dog Obsessed with Dragon
Boo Radley is Obsessed with our new baby Bearded Dragon. He stands with his nose against the cage, tongue hanging out and a big goofy smile on his face. He would stand there for hours if I let him. Now when we ask him to leave it or to come he does listen and obey. When I bring out the bearded dragon we make Boo sit and stay and he does. We have let him sniff the bearded dragon and he doesn't seem to have and drive to want to eat or attack it.
Do any of your dogs do this?
Should I be okay with him watching the bearded dragon all day?
Any opinions?

Thanks!

well... my dog doesn't stand looking at them all day, but if they're out he's ready to lick them to death xD (but lizards being pretty fragile animals I don't let him)

he has a very high preydrive but he doesn't seem to have it around the animals I own myself, now my friend had his bunny that got loose while I was at his place, and if I wans't there to grab my dog in the nick of time, he would have eaten it xD

BUT, he gets all hot when he sees cattle or horses and would def go after them and not with good intentions (not sure if horses are considered cattle? I'm a moron, I know, shame on me as I own one ^^)

on the other hand, my JRT would eat everything that has the shape of mouse/rat/bunny/bird/... she would def kill them, and the snake to ^^

My roomate had a pet rat that got loose and that thing was IMPOSSIBLE to catch. It holed up behind our fridge for awhile and Marz spent months staring at the fridge. People would come over and be like ''Ummmm.... I think your dog is hungry." She seriously did it ALL DAY.

omg so I have Leroy, my sandfire Bearded Dragon and Leroy HATES the Dirty White Boy, Orion. She will run up to the glass and throw out her "beard" and being all aggressive tothe glass, she doesn't do it to Phoenix or Penny, only to Orion, lol. IDK why And Orion could just be going to get a toy fromt heir toy box under the dragon terrarium, but Leroy will try to bust through the glass to get at him.

When Leroy was smaller, Penny would watch her but loose intrest quickly, lol

I do too, but I found out I was allergic, to them, guinea pigs and mice, don't miss the smell tho, but that stuff you put in the water for the smell makes a big difference hehe

Bug seems to think that small household pets are other dogs and she just wants to play with them - rabbits, snakes, etc.

We have a yellow footed Tortious that we used to let out alot untill he got Marco, he will just sniff and paw at his shell if he leave him out but I'm paranoid lol. Anytime we put lettuce or baby tomatos in his cage Marco will sit there with his noise pinned against the glass whinning. He loves baby tomatos and even lettuce... he's strange.
