Default Oh why O why
I had such a great day with Odie today. We went to the weight pull video is in Sports and Obedience section. So I'm beaming, because he did so well. Only did one pull but wasn't expecting more because I haven't worked him on it alot. Well you always get someone to rain on your parade per se. I was talking to one of my customers who knows about my pibble, ok all my customers know about my pibble if they're regulars. I work at a convenience store part time, just to help with the bills. So after they were talking to me a woman who I didn't know said All pit bulls are evil. My daughter was bit by our dog, and the dog has never bitten anyone else. I told her I was very sorry that had happened to her daughter but you can't blame every pit bull. I told her there are many factors why this might have happened. Bad breeding, dog was hurt and then she went on to tell me that you hear about them more than other breeds. I told her I would never own a little dog for fear of being bit, nor would I own a labrador because to many people have told me about them biting someone in the face.. Are all labs bad no just not my cup of tea. She said you don't hear about other dogs like you do pit bulls, I said what about the pomeranian who hurt the guy or the jack russell that ate the baby, well that's why it was news because you never hear about other breeds I let it go and had a cigarette after she left. I did feel bad about what happened to her daughter but I don't know the situation either. I'm getting thicker skinned about these things but after the day I had, I had to vent.

I just hope one day they won't start picking on everybodies breed of choice. Then who would be cuddle with when we were lonely.

Next timre remind her that there is no such breed as a "pit bull". It's like hating all retrievers because a Golden Retriever bit you.

Ive heard some things said about these guys that make my mouth drop open. I try to educate and just remain friendly, then I shake it off and go home and cuddle with my sweet wonderful pooches.
