I just wanna ask, what is a pitbull mix? and what is the cross breed pitbull?

I have told from the owners of the parents of my pit that he is mixed Fighting and show type pit bull, thats why he had the characteristics of both type, so the point is, what kind of type he is, is he a pitbull mix or a cross breed pit?

Well, that's really hard to determine.

There are gamebred/gameline APBTs, but many of them are show dogs/weight pull dogs, because fighting is illegal in the US. They can be in the ADBA, AADR, or UKC.

However, the UKC has some American Pit Bull Terriers that are also mixed with American Staffordshire Terriers (Amstaffs), and some UKC dogs are just Amstaffs.

Amstaffs are show dogs in the AKC.

An easier way to answer your question would be 1)do you have papers, and 2) If you do, what are the bloodlines?

If you don't have papers, then it's a crap shoot, your dog can be a mix of anything.

However, I'd like to add, that even if you have papers, unless you get a dog from a Reputable Breeder, there is always a chance the dog might be mixed with someone else as well.

well very well said, and oh yes the breeder is breeding pits for a very long time. But you see, I already done searching for the bloodline of my pit, but I always fail to do so, coz the breeder got migrated and I cannot contact him anymore, I guess I have to something about it, coz its really hard to do it especially here in our country.

but as long as we love my dog, as long as we give him the best care and the best training we have, definitely he'll be living in a very good life, does he? I have created an album for my pit you can peek if you want....
