We attended a "dock dog" competition (just as spectators) today and I entered Kapone into the cutest dog competition put on by Greenies. He was the number one pick by the sponsors which he was #1 of the top 6 to go to the finals but the final round was judged by applause from the audience. so he lost but we say he took third, based on the cheers The number one was an english bulldog and number two was a great dane. Kapone was the only Pit in the competition. So he won his breed category , well thats what we told him to make him feel good.

Forgot my main point: This was Kapones first time going out into a large group since we had gotten him. First time around a large number of dogs as well. There were dogs showing some signs of DA but Kapone barked one time and that was when a dog barked a little aggressively at my son and Kapone just let out a little warning bark then stared until my son came closer to him. He stayed by either my wifes side or mine the whole time. He got a lot of love from vendors and from other spectators. He was on his best behavior and we got a lot of compliments on him. Also the occasional comment on how they cant believe a dog as cute as this has the bad wrap of being a pitt. thats when i went into my responsible pitt owner shpeel
