Im about to move to Winston Salem NC Where can I find out the laws against having APBT'S.. Im moving there in a couple weeks and i need to find out what laws they have?

Found this link under the BSL forum. I am not sure how up to date this is. But I dont think Winston has any BSL at this time.

I'm not sure about the W-S area, but I've had nothing but positive experiences while living in NC with my pit.

My dad lives there. And I love it there.. Its really nice and there's so many more opportunities there than in West Virginia.. Don't get me wrong I love WV but I wanna get my life started, Ive moved down there before and I always end up moving back because my dad wouldn't let me bring my dog's and I dont have any friends there. He's hardheaded and thinks that all APBT are bad... But after all the B*tching and teaching him about them, he's finally going to let me bring my dog's. Are you from around that area?? I need some friends down that way.. ( Im kinda shy so Im not real good at meeting new people) Thanks Jeremy

We live in winston salem, it's a nice place. We've never had any problems with our pit. Good luck with your move

Just be prepared.... even though he has agreed to let you bring your dogs, unless he has an open mind, it's still possible that he will say they are bad and try to make you get rid of them... Not trying to be the wet towel, but want you to go with your eyes open for anything. Hopefully, you and your dogs will turn his way of thinking around, but just have a back up plan if it doesn't. Get a job and start saving money in case you have to find your own place. Good luck, and let us know how things go.

I live ten minutes away from Winston Salem and I like it ok, everybody that meets my APBT has nothing but love for him!
