I like Layla. I name all my dogs Hawaiian names, thier names all mean something in Hawaiian that correlates with their personality or looks. MeKai = strength, Ali'i wahini = queen, Kane-Hekili = spirit of thunder, Madame Pele = Goddess of Volcanoes, Maluna= moon (for the lunar shape white patch on her neck). Plus my kennel name is Aloha Kennels. Nobody can pernounce them, but they dont forget them either, LOL!

there are some pics of her. She is only 4 weeks. Will be 5 tomorrow. Before anyone asks I got her from a BYB before I came on here and knew any better. I was under the impression that she was going to be 8 weeks on the 18th of december because the ad said ready to go on the 18th. That was the date she was supposed to be 4 weeks. I had already fell in lover with her and didnt want someone else to come along with bad intentions. So I took her home anyways. I do relize the challenges that may come along from her being taken away so younge (bite inhibitation ect) I do have a friend that has 3 dogs....a shit zu, and 2 lab X that she will be able to play with once shes vaccinated to help catch her up with what she has been missing from her litter mates and mom. She'll also be going to training classes as well. Looks like Layla is winning. Although I do like the hawian names as they are differant than most that I've been thinking of naming her. Thanks guys and Merry Xmas Trish |

Aww Trish she's beautiful. You could always call her Nani = Beautiful or Makana = gift... I love my Hawaiian names so much, I dont mind sharing, LOL. Hey and those can be pronounced, LMAO! I just cant see calling my dog Fido or Princess or something common. A name must have meaning! Although again Pickles made me laugh.
![]() Hope you had a wonderful Christmas... |
