That's cool Mazzi...I wish I could get my dogs to go get my cell phone, it always rings when I'm right in the middle of something, lol. Hmmm, any smart pup stories? I had a Lab when I was young that would grab me by the arm and pull me to the side of the road if there was a car coming. I have no idea where she picked that up. Don't know if that's a smart pup story or not, I guess it would be, but it's not like I was planning on jumping in front of on coming cars though, lol.

I really don't think that she knew what she was doing. She's no Lassie dog. LOL I guess it was just a coinsidence (sp). Weird though because she normally doesn't go upstairs. I guess we'll never know for sure. LOL

My Dog gets my show and blankets when I aske her to. I also talk to my dog and I swear she understands me. I never taught her to get anything she just does if I ask. As long as she knows the word and what it is she gets it or does it.

One of our Dobies would get his leash and bowl if asked to. Though it was cute, it was always one of those circumstances where you'd ask yourself if you did a good or bad thing 'cause he'd fling his bowl through the air and fling the leash around in circles and almost take out the TV screen. I've got a good story though that I'd forgotten about...my grandmom once told me that one of her Dobies had thrown up on the floor and when she went off to go get paper towels and cleaner to clean it up, he had gone off to the bathroom and came back with a wad of toilet paper in his mouth and pushed it at her hand. Guess it was his way of helping to clean up.

Peanut goes and gets his leash, whimpers and stares at me when he needs to be taken out to go to the bathroom. i didnt teach him that but im grateful that he figured that out because no accidents he knows when he needs to go and he has to be on his leash.

Um, Apollo can pick out every one of his like fifty thousand toys by name...get the green duck...wheres your rope...find me the blue hippo, etc. Just a memory game. Frank escapes the yard and then sets the other dogs free.

Yeah, Mollie has eaten 2 phones... one cordless house phone, and one of my daughters cell phones. She's also almost wrecked the couch trying to bury biscuits/bones in it, then trying to dig them out.... even after they have fallen through the couch to the floor, she keeps digging. Matter of fact, she ripped a hole in my new sheets trying to either bury, or dig out, a bone..

I just wish I could get my dogs to find the TV remote when I cant find it. I dont know if its smart or not, but it is cute. If MeKai thinks he is too dirty, he will jump in the shower with me and look at me like, "Hey you got some of that shampoo for me?" LOL!

Default Wow!!!
My mother told me that when she was talking with my BF on his cell phone yesterday, she heard my cell ringing and it turns out that my girl, Mazzi picked my phone up, walked upstairs to where the BF was and sat in front of him...holding the phone!! I didn't believe it at first. It didn't seem possible, but they both insist that it did happen. Wow!

Do any of you have any smart pup stories that you want to share? Please. : )
