we rescued these two beautiful babies from a terrible situation. my boyfriends cousin called us and told us about a dog fighting ring and these two puppies were being put against each other to see if they were "game" enough. if they didnt fight they would have been killed because their "owners" (i use that term lightly) were going to execute them. so we drove out there and offered 200 dollars for both dogs and got them. we also reported them to the authorities about the dog fighting ring. here are some pictures

They are too cute!! And pretty young too, from the looks of it! Though it is too bad they made you pay $200 and you couldn't just rescue them for nothing... I hate to see that type of people profit. At least they'll have an even bigger surprise when the cops swing by, LOL!

You didn't just rescue 2 dogs...you BOUGHT them. Rescues don't pay for the dogs to come in their doors. And you never mentioned rehoming the dogs...you made it sound like YOU rescued them, not like you ARE a rescue.

if you dont remember in my previous posts, i had spoke of moving to snow camp so i could start a legit rescue operation. right now i live in a 2 bedroom apartment and own 3 pitbulls 2 of which are rescues. i can only keep so many. and there are so many out there that need help, i can only do so much. the rehoming fee is the for the vet costs that i had paid out of pocket to get these dogs utd on all their shots, and dewormings/spays&neuterings if they're old enough. which is also what shelters do, and other rescues. you guys act as if im doing something wrong by trying to find these dogs a better home. if i left them where they were they'd end up dead. maybe your expectations are higher than what i can do right now, or maybe i'm not going about something right but as long as these dogs get into a stable family enviroment and have the long happy life they deserve i really dont care what anyone else thinks.

so i should have left them in the fighting ring? with that person? the only way i could get the puppies out of that situation was to buy them from him.

What makes you so sure these were from dog fighters in the first place???
People don't throw puppies together to see if they'll fight....puppies generally don't have dog aggression yet. Sorry. Ain't buying the dog fighter line. Looks more like you had a litter of pups you couldn't get rid of and now you're resorting to the old "rehoming" trick.

Maybe because you introduced the pup in another thread as layla and now are saying shes a new rescue and has no name....or playing it off as a new dog totally???

Again...I think something stinks here...maybe I'm wrong....but right now I'm feeling that something is not right here.

you cant be serious. my male dog isnt even 11 months yet. so how would we have a litter? seriously he'll be a year in feb. so where would this "litter" come from. why wouldnt i have all of these "puppies" up for adoption? and why are they all different ages?

THIS is the dog with no name that we just rescued.

you cant tell me that they look even remotely alike. ill find the thread i posted about layla and link you to it. so maybe youll stop smelling what youre smelling. and the only reason im going out of my way to defend myself to a bunch of strangers is because the last thing i want to do is be viewed as another bad ambassador of this breed. thats the ONLY reason im even trying to explain everything, i dont owe anyone an explanation, i know what im doing is the best for these dogs. no one else around here is going to do it.
