We finally brought Boo Radley home on Sunday night. A couple of weeks ago we found a place to live that would take two dogs. They were great about it, plus the whole house is ceramic tile. How dog proof is that. I have the whole week of Thanksgiving off so I wanted to Bring him home on Sunday. Saturday we called the trainer that works at the rescue I volunteer for and asked if she would help with an off leash meeting.

We went for it and I was extreamly nervous but left it at the door. When we got there we walked them on leash again to see how that went and everything was great. We then proceded to an in closed yard and took off the leashes and NOTHING. No problems they kissed eachother and started playing. He is way more hyper than she is. She growled at him once and he backed up and they were fine.

We wanted to sleep on it and pray on it and would make a desission in the morning. We talked it over with Sophie. (I know talking to the dog but she gets it I don't care what anyone says) We prayed about it and woke up feeling like we needed him and he needed us.

He is a great dog and kept being past by at the rescue because he doesn't look like a pit or he wasn't a puppy. When Sophie met Boo she picked him out. The lady who works at the rescue has been working rescue for 40 years and says she has never seen a Dog pick out another Dog.

Sunday we finished off our fence and picked him up. We walked both dogs around the neighbor hood, and let him mark his spot around the house. Brought him inside and it has been a dream ever since. We had him in a crate in the living room for a couple of days while Sophie got use to him. But she would cry untill we brought him out. Five minute intervals became half hour intervals. Now they both love eachother and always have to be together. THis is a dream come true and the feeling that we gave an unwanted dog a home and that God had him picked out for our family is a great feeling. I love him so much and am learning from him already.
