We found him thru the SBTCA rescue page and list.... He knows all kinds of tricks and commands. Eats like a gentleman. He is very subtle black brindle with little gold flecks. I was torn betwn a APBT and SBT but the lil guys were winning my heart over! Oh, does he pull, tho - but he does know 'heel'!! I'm smitten and he seems great so far (only been a few days!!!)! He and Ruby get along but HE comes on too strong to play and SHE has gotten a little snarly with him. I rushed things a bit so so we're keeping them more separated for another week or two. He's about 2-3 years old and 43ish lbs - he will only put 2 feet at a time on my scale! Beefy little guy and I think he can jump the baby gate if he tried! The I'll probably get his ILP (he seems pretty well bred!) and see what I can do with him. Handsome boy! DH named him Sherman like the WW2 tanks - it suits him! He only poops in the flower beds - LOL! Oh the cries and whines - are sooo cute and pathetic ... Must.Resist.Coddling!! Ruby is possessive over what she *thinks* is hers so I picked up all the toys. He hurts her biting when playing but she will 'check' him and I've tried to get her to back off for general snarkiness. He will avoid her when signals are clear and come back for more later.... I wuv him - seems to be a super stable, calm, loving boy. Hope I didn't terminally rush things with these two ... she will initiate play and take turns being on her back, so I think we'll be ok if I keep it slow now.

He is beautiful!! I love his short, stocky body!! I also love the name Sherman, it fits him!
