Yesterday I was strolling Bernie and Peanut, whenever a Collie across the street slipped from the owner's arms and bolted across the street getting at Bernie. I kept yelling in the woman to have her pet, she was frozen perhaps not doing such a thing. I pressed your dog away with my foot and the moment I did that it broke and began growling at me and attempt to join top of Bernie growling. Fortunately Bernie was calm and collected and didn't do much but I kept yelling at the woman ahead have the dog. It took her five minutes to get it and go for the dog. I don't know if she was scared of Bernie or if she was naive in what to do but I kept shouting at her telling her to get her silly dog. Today my questions are : 1) If Bernie deffended herself and bit the dog could we be to blame despite the fact that he's leashed and another dog isn't? 2) What can I carry with me or do in the future to avoid another dog getting at Bernie, will there be any I can do to frighten the dog away? Since I'd two dogs one lead on each hand along with a carrier of poop on one aswell I thought therefore claustrophobic. I can hardly move and there clearly was very little I could do to enter between that dog and Bernie. Then immediately after that fool left I'm walking with a home that had a Boxer, and some type of cropped mutt and the one thing separating them from us was a foot chain link fence. Obviously that Rotty was leaping therefore high I was scared and I was wishing that neither of these dogs might have arrived on the scene. I went as quickly as I could to escape but this actually made me feel. I don't think it's safe for me to go my chiwawa with Bernie in those days of your day by my home, I think with me is just a better situation than to be worried about Peanut as well. having just Bernie. I'm sorry to vent and ramble on but this week is so demanding. My neighbor's grankids brough their 4 dogs a bullmastiff, fighter, rottie blend and recovery hole mutt and I couldn't even move in my own on lawn with my dogs because every time I got out these dogs could bolt out of the home snapping and barking and attempting to leap the 6 foot wall. They explained that after they leave home they leave them together and I actually know why these kind of episodes occur those individuals were unaware about their pets. They've just had the hole dog to get a such as a couple of months, and I kept telling them that it was a dreadful thought but they explained that they were good and only had a laugh. Plus that hole pet was snapping at me too when I arrived on the scene to my lawn to get the poop without my dogs... Often I just wish I could go way and not cope with silly pet owners..
