It already does that if you read right across. on my phone it certainly isnt easy to find the forum the chat is actually in, it takes about 15 keypresses to find out if its chat in sssf, tt or sg... |

I think the chat threads for the three different sections should be renamed to avoid confusion - "SSSF Chat", "Scribbly Chat", "Tech Chat" etc. |

waves hi to D.O.
(hows the motel room??) I have been trying (in vain it seems) to show roughbarked that it is impossible to `ban' someone by username (even using the `supersecret mod tools' LOL) in fact its almost impossible to ban someone prior to any actual on forum misbehaviour at all I can use a dozen different ways of bypassing everything that he wants to do, without even having to try hard but you can lead a horse to water, but you cant make him drink.... and some people dont even want to acknowledge that the water is even there... http://www.google.com.au/search?q=homer+DOH&hl=en&safe=off&client=firefox-a&hs=rbS&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB ![]() |

Let me assure you mate, that you'd encountered the team I worked with.. all your dozen eggs would be broken within three posts. some people have to believe they are all powerful gods- if they wanted to, a well set up person could destroy a forum within weeks- luckily as the many people who know me in person know, I wouldn't do such a thing but believe me, I am SOOO tempted.... just to show I could roughbarked, you have a LOT to learn about what exactly can and cant be achieved and bignoting yourself isnt the way to go about it- you might even get someone agro and pissed off even LOL (not to mention for someone who does know how to set up a widespread network like myself- it makes you look rather the fool) I am seriously starting to dislike you, and thats hard to do- that normally takes me a couple of months to actively not like a poster |

horse water drink I have proven my point. I wasn't bignoting but I did get you to show you that knowledge is a weapon. Even though it was true that the odd troublemaker eventually never came back.. it was because he met that brick wall. The problem is, that there are always new ones. The smart ones just shut up and get what they came for. |

Raises Hand:
Please, sir, can you enable the user display posts option? (The number of posts individuals can choose to display per page) At the moment it's stuck on "Forum Default" which is 50 posts per page... is there an option wherein we can choose the number of posts/threads we load? EDIT: Went & had a looksee... I know there are hundreds of options to tick-off during the initial set-up phase, so in the interest of cutting through the clutter I'd search for where the setting might be located under: "User Setting/General/Thread Display Options" There's a Cut-Off Date option.. but what I was inquiring after was a Number of Posts & Threads each individual can Choose to Display Per Page in order to customize the experience for Dial-Up Members. Raises Hand: It would be nice because 50 isn't nearly enough. |
