As some here already know I am involved with a science/health advocacy group that specifically targets vaccination myths, and especially Meryl Dorey and the AVN.

Seems we have made a few anti vaxxers uncomfortable. they have started a change.org petition to have us banned from Facebook. Quite funny really. Thought some here might appreciate it.

There are places in the world where children still get sick with polio. Decreasing places but Afghanistan, Pakistan, Chad and so on.

Hang in there, Martin... I think the novax is meant to be a pun. However, the sue aspect of Sue Novax may be a double entendre; the no vax people should have legal action taken against them for 'stupidising' the general population.

Try and find a bright side to this situation. We can treat it as a large scale experiment of the theory of evolution. If evolution works the anti-vaxxers will become extinct. It may take a while to see the positive results...

It's a site to create and market petitions. For example, current petitions listed include: to stop digitally altering photos in Cleo magazine, introduce tougher penalties for knife attacks and to provide postpeople with suitable wet weather gear.

FACEBOOK SAYS THEY DON’T TOLERATE BULLYING. THEN ENFORCE IT! Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if some of those accounts listed in the first section (eg. Prosecute Meryl Dorey, etc.) are pushing the limits of harassment, just judging by their "usernames".

In any account, 28 signatories means that it's hardly a threat.

This may well work in your favour. Highlighting the debate brings focus to the argument and perhaps an opportunity for greater focus on well formed debate about this in the arena of FB with a much broader audience.

I hope that is the outcome.
