This photo of North Korea at night provides conclusive proof of that countries world leading energy conservation policy. Originating in the Post WWII communism ideology, the North Koreans methods have proven resilient in highlighting the resource squandering of capitalism. One North Korean resident who wished to remain anonymous stated, "It is wasteful to use electricity for night lighting and private purposes. It is also easier for our protectors to use there night vision to see curfew breakers."



Western governments are considering similar measures with the current enviro-political climate.
