Yeah, sickness is no time to abandon science. If you want to try something else in addition to science that's fine provided your doctor doesn't object. If you've given up all hope and just want to die in peace then I recommend marijuana.

lol I actually don't know much about heroin but it kind of scares me. Isn't there a risk of bad trips? If I was in serious pain I'm sure I'd want morphine though.

Heroin isn't so different from morphine, just stronger. And better at killing pain. You don't really trip on it.

Ok, I can see its use in some end of life scenarios then. I wanted my mom to smoke marijuana when she was on radiation and lost her appetite. I figured if that wouldn't give her an appetite then nothing would. I didn't even suggest it though because there's no way she would have done it.
