I was looking forward to this... but unfortunately I'm not going to be able to see it because of all of the rain we've been getting. It's supposed to rain through the night, so I doubt I'll even be able to see the moon itself, let alone watch the eclipse.

This calls for pictures! Unfortunately, they won't be coming from me because it's freaking cold here today.

I think it's supposed to be here 2AM central time? If it's not cloudy, I'm going to see it!

Heck I could make it til 2am but it was cloudy when the sun went down so I'm not going to be hopeful that I will be able to see it.

so it starts at midnight, but I won't really see a whole lot til 12:30, and then I REALLY won't see the full red eclipse stil 2:30 or so???

and the next one is April 14, 2014

I don't know if I am going to make it til midnight, let alone 2:30!

I'm going to have to go outside and see how cloudy it is here. I'd really like to see it if it's not supposed to happen again til 2014.

Yeah, me either. I'm going to bed in a few here. I think it clouded over this evening too. Oh well, at least lunar eclipses are more common than solar eclipses.

Might look out for it tonight but seeing it will be about midnight when I step outside the Pogues gig after 15 pints, I'll probably see several moons!
