Default Hikers, Campers, Anglers, Hunters,
or anyother Outdoor Lovers here or near abouts willing to share experiences ?

The economy as well as high gas prices that plagued my area during the warm season put a damper upon my trips into the Uplands for hiking and fishing. At least gas went down during black powder season.

Thanks, that area was where they used to film All creatures great and small. Also that scene from Robin Hood Prince of theives where Kevin Costner is showering was filmed at that waterfall.

There are so many things great about England but waterfalls really isn't one of them. There are some great, huge waterfalls in the mountains of Wales and Scotland but unfortunately not in England. It's a bit like me showing you the highest mountain in Holland really!

Eh Peter...you know I lived in England right? And yeah most of its in Wales you're right. Scottland too..I don't remember much of Scotland though.... we did a few camping trips there but not many so it s abit of a blur.... but Wales...hell me dad had us out there as much as he could, as we lived in Huyton Liverpool and needed the fresh air. LOL

Me favourite place is that one spelt funny like... has a real welsh name... the rapids or falls runs right through the middle of the town... shite if I can remember the name not thats i'd be able to spell it anyway. LOL...anyway the one the army base runs its men through during training...know which one I'm talking about? Beautiful ride to that village too.

Fairy Glen Betws-y-Coedthats the name I'm looking for... thats one of my favourite places to go when I go home...next to walking the heather covered moores near my Aunts place. I usually stay out at with family in the Cardiff/ Swansea area of Wales, when I'm not in Liverpool.

Dont know them, I've been on holiday to the Black Mountain in Wales near that funny little town with all the second hand book shops, been to Swansea once, nuff said really! lol! and I used to go to Tywyn at the base of Cader Idris (I was the first person to climb to the top this millenium!) in mid Wales on the coast every Christmas and new year when a mate of mine moved there, saw in the millenium there actually was great! Welsh birds are sluts, got new year kisses off about 50 of them that night, ranging in age between 18 and 58.

The barmaid was, I remember that, not sure about too many of the others, the 58 year old one was great, just to see my mates reaction when he saw me with my tongue down her throat!
