Dana, that's usually easy to tell.. If it's in a slot, it's a NIC Card, if it's where the mouse, USB and other connections are, it's onboard.. Dana --- "issues" with the network adapter tells us exactly jack shit. Is there an error message? Is it just not connecting to the internet? Something else entirely? |

The only computer that come with built-in NICs these days are high end gaming machines with a "gaming" NIC in them. |
