JailbreakMe – which will unlock iPhones, iPads and iPods – ruled legal by the US Library of Congress For anyone wanting to "jailbreak" their Apple devices, you now have the backing of the US legal system! Though I'm sure that hasn't stopped anyone before. |

I've never done it before and don't really have any desire to. I don't really see the benefit to be honest. |

The things I use on my downgraded and re-jailbroken (with Spirit) 3.1.3 3gs are:
iBlackList (as the name implies, blacklists or whitelists, block unknown/restricted callers if you like too). MyWi - treat your phone as a wifi hotspot and use its data connection. Doesn't kill the data (being on an 'unlimited' plan it matters not though). 3G Unrestrictor - avoid the limitations of apps that require wifi or provide a downgraded experience on 3G. I keep my jailbreak for those three things - the first two being the most useful for me. |
