It's what I use to watch TV on, great little PVR
As far as music, Winamp will always have my heart, and movies, you can't go wrong with media player classic.
Fully customizable with 3rd party filters, EG: CoreAVC 2.0 with AC3Filter= jizz in my pants 1080p MKVs and 5.1 surround

Hi Zorak, is that the Windows Vista version ?

I use the version that comes with XP and it seems to work pretty well. I use it for my Samsung MP3 Player when I must.. Otherwise I use MP3 Ripper I got from a free web site that is pretty plain.. I mainly want it for tagging and ripping my CDs to load into my Blackberry or Samsung Player that I sync into my car..

For DVD's I use DVD Fab.. It is a much better tool..

But just for playing the MP3's and Video's on my laptop, I use Windows Media yes..

I have checked out WMC but it doesnt quite make it for me.
Yes the UI is pretty slick.
I dont like the DRM restrictions though.

I use Sagetv.

It's a bit of a pain in all honesty, but it does look pretty cool.

I can't wait for the day when we have computers like in minority report

I use it at work because it's either that or winamp, and I can't stand winamp. .At home I usually use Last.fm on my xbox or I'll use the Zune software on my lappy.
