Default My life is ruined
I am Canadian and I am in Arizona right now. Hockey is life and I must watch hockey. CBC and TSN (Canadian networks) stream games online on their websites. The only problem is, they don't stream outside of Canada. I find this very distressing as I REALLY want to watch the World Junior Championships and the Olympcs, among other things. I've heard about something called a proxy but I am unintelligent about such things. Can anyone help me out or should I just go find the nearest bridge and jump?

I'm not the one paying the cable bill so I don't think I have any control over which channels we get. To be honest, I'd rather watch hockey (and the Olympics, for that matter) on a Canadian network anyway.

You just have to find a proxy service that's hosted from canada so it has canadian IP. google for proxy servers. what you do is when you find a site, there's a url box on the page. so instead of typing the website you want to go in the url box of your browser, you type it in the webpage's url box provided instead. and the proxy loads the site using its ip and relays it to you. the target website won't know you are not in Canada.

I'll try that. Thanks.

ATDHE.Net - Watch Free Live Sports TV

go to sports and your set (its a streaming site for sports)

but if you want to proxy i believe you are talking about keeping your ip address anonymous and i found this

Proxy Switcher PRO 3.9.0.4059

There are times when you have to cloak your true IP address. It might be that you want to remain anonymous when you visit a particular website. Or your access to various social networking and entertainment sites has been blocked. This will help you.

The solution is to use Proxy Switcher for all the anonymous browsing needs. It can be used to avoid all sorts of limitations imposed by various sites. Be that a download site that limits amount of downloads. Or video site works only in a particular country - more often than not it gets defeated by the anonymous browsing features Proxy Switcher provides.
