Default Child-proofing a computer
It seems like I've spent my whole life trying to undo-child protection on computers and I never really learned how they got there in the first place, ha. Well anyway, I just got an old computer set up for my sister and I was wondering if there were any good programs (free) that can child-proof a computer. Right now it's just set as a limited account. I'd like to block certain web sites (you know what kind) along with sites like MySpace, Facebook, and the like. I'd also like to limit what she can see on YouTube, but not block it all together. I honestly don't know what else to do. Like I said, I spent my whole life trying to do the opposite of what I'm doing now. Any help greatly apperciated.

You cant limit what she does on youtube, though you can add a word filter, but they are just fucking annoying and useless

Im guessing you want some symantic security just for internet right?

Actually some sort of word filter wouldn't be too bad. I'm not really worried about her, it's more her friends. She knows what she should and shouldn't do, but her friends are little monsters whos parents let them do what ever the fuck they want.
