I'm not quite sure...but it's relatively easy. Once most of the images are cached, things load rather fast, and I only go to a handful of sites. I have standards, you realize. The most frustrating thing is waiting for the recently coded pages to go up on a site. I hate waiting to see if my html was correct, or if I have to shank the person who fouled it up in the first place.

And it isn't just dial-up...it's a shared line. So we have to split everything. If he starts downloading, I just kinda sit in the chat. If I download, he minimizes his workload on the net. It's give and take. I think it adds to the relationship, to be honest.

Yes, I miss the quick snap of the cable line...but eh. Living without the net, I think, would be much worse. I enjoy my friends I have online. They're more family than they'll ever know...so I sacrifice speed for my own little slice of warm bread.

Then how do you survive with dial up?

*blows kisses*

I'm thinking about getting cable in just this room so that the old man can still have his RFD-TV, and we can have our high speed connection. The way I figure it, my friends at TWC get me packaged deals for cheap...so we'll see...
