Default Warning for Laptop Users
If you are watching something scary with your computer in your lap, make sure you have it strapped to your neck or something.

I flung mine across the room when some guy's head blew up on the show...

It was funny until I realized I cracked my screen.

Dana... hon... It's a laptop.

I busted my charger plug in area 'cause I dropped it while it was plugged in. I'm furious with myself. And then little Miss DIY couldn't be restrained, so I doubt anyone will look at it. It works, but it's a major PITA.

I'm curled up in a chair right now with mine on my lap. It's more comfortable. I hate having my feet on the ground too though, and generally like to sprawl. If the chair were a bit bigger (or me smaller), I'd be flung out over the arms of it but me and the computer don't fit so well...

I've come close to throwing my laptop when an unexpected spider picture shows up. That's why I appreciate warnings for such things.

I had mine on my lap one night and something scared me... It flew outta my lap and landed funny.... screen was ok but the adaptor part was smashed horribly.. ... Thankfully it was the one that was stolen when the house was broken into.. it never had worked right after the flying incident...

lol that really sucks, I've gotten really excited watching fights and had that happen before, though I haven't broken or cracked anything.

perhaps the spider should announce himself when he walks in the room?

nah. If something's hot I usually don't put it on my skin.

But you know - that's me...with common sense...
