Yeah, but that never matters it is always cheaper in the US than here, that is why so many people get things in America rather than over here
really?

i guess we just have to give you guys like the good scenery, history, wine and culture huh?

Adobe USA sells it for $699.00 so she got a good deal. It's just a lot of software for someone that isn't making their living with it imo.
maybe I will be one day...I have done a few shitty websites lately, and I was about to have to design a logo for one company to use for their branding.

I don't get paid a lot, but that's because my work isn't that good yet, and because I have done all my editing and creating in a program similar to paint.

I've gotten paid to do senior portraits a few times, family photos and some cattle shots too

I can't wait to do stuff like that. I'm installing it today - then I just have to go take pictures.

Janie O'babe be prepared for a big learning curve. That's a very complicated program. If you bought the book " Photoshop for Dummies " it would probably help a lot. If you do get it make sure it's the the one for your version.

i hear it's going to make it damn near impossible for people to keep their watermarks on images.

which is sad.

also, what happened to just being a good photographer?
That is why I don't have photoshop. The pictures I post are pictures I take. I'll use whatever came with my computer to do basic stuff like red eye removal but other than that I don't see the point in editing my photos.

It's not stealing if I send her the full bought and paid for Elements program is it? I've the full bought and paid for ver 6 in a box unregistered and uninstalled whilst I use my bought and paid for ver 8.
check your EULA, I'm pretty sure resale is not permitted... but I won't tell on you

please do share.

I got the photoshop bible before I bought CS5, so I got the version for CS4 since it was only $10 on half.com.

I am kind of familiar with photoshop, but no to the amazing extreme my teacher knows how to do.

Any help is awesome.

The main reason why I got CS5 is because the computers at school run CS3 and you can't open your raw images from certain cameras using CS3 - not even bridge can view them because the cameras we have are newer. We even updated the plugin, etc.

If yall know how to fix that - THAT would be awesome!
