My main PC.

Athlon 64 3000
512 MB DDR (I need 512 more)
radeon 9600
2 80 gig HD's on a promise raid controller. (no raid though I ordered a plain Promise card & got a full blown raid shipped to me by accident).
using on board sound.

I've got 4 other PC's of various specs that are dedicated to one task.
Most are made of odds & ends.

Milt,

How are you liking your MacBook Pro? I absolutely LOVE mine! I've got Boot Camp installed and have had no issues whatsoever dual booting into XP when I need to.

BTW Clay, go with the Pentium Extreme Edition, it would give you a boner

BTW Clay, go with the Pentium Extreme Edition, it would give you a boner That's what I have right now; 2.8e (e=extreme). It's overclocked to 3.0, but I don't like posting my overclock speeds because I feel like I'm cheating .

This is the computer I'm about to start putting together (click here)

Basic specs:
2.0 GHz Athlon 64
2 GB RAM
74 GB SATA RAID-1 Storage (Two 36 GB drives striped for Windows & Games)
74 GB Storage (for everything else)
ATI Radeon X1800XT
19" Samsung LCD

I really want to go with the dual core 64, but that's just not going to happen because they're ridiculously priced right now. Hopefully by the time I actually buy the processor, which is always the last thing I buy, the prices will have come down a little and that's what I will go with.

My computer does not measure up to yalls but here it goes. I built it about 3 years ago.

P4 2.4
1gig ram
radeon 9600 video card
2X 36gig raptor 10k rpm sata hard drives in raid 0
19 inch LCD

Like I said not much comapred to yall but it runs all the games I play right now and has not crashed once. Although I am getting the itch to make another computer.
