Like most people I thught this was an April Fool's joke but apparently it's quite serious. Rafa and Roger are going to play an exhibition on May 2 in Palma, Mallorca. The court will be half grass and half clay. I kid you not. Here's a picture of the court being constructed which appeared in the Spanish press.

Article in the original Spanish.
http://www.ultimahora.es/segunda.dba?-1+9+395931

Basically it's saying they're building the court. The builder of the clay side isn't having any problems since the contractor is the same guy that makes the Davis Cup surface for Spain. The grass side is of more concern since there is little time for it to take.

To quote that famous poet L'il Kim, "it's all about the Benjamins baby"

Didn't want to start a new thread, this kind of fits here. Note it was actually called "Baghdatis & Friends"

Baghdatis & Friends Play for Charity in Cyprus

Marcos Baghdatis thrilled his home country fans last week as he joined forces with other ATP players and local tennis stars in the first ever tennis charity exhibition held in Cyprus.

More than 2,000 spectators turned out for the event, held at the National Tennis Centre in Nicosia, to see their hero in action alongside Frenchmen Fabrice Santoro and Marc Gicquel, his brother Petros and Cypriot No. 2 Fotos Kallias. Miss Star Cyprus 2006 also attended the charity benefit.

Following the match, a "Marcos card" prize raffle was held with a lucky fan winning a trip for four to watch Baghdatis play at Roland Garros.

The exhibition was organized in collaboration with his sponsor, the "Société Générale" of Cyprus, to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Rome.

All net proceeds from the event were donated to the development of the youth tennis talent in Cyprus and to the Cyprus Society Against Osteoporosis and Myoskeletal Diseases.

I wonder what was being smoked, inbibed or inhaled when the promoters came up with this one. Somewhere somebody is laughing their head off.

I'm still waiting for someone to yell "April Fool".

That's why they wouldn't waste prescious Euros by smoking them.
